Sorry parents- just a bit off. Last week Tuesday the 11th we talked about good manners and practiced our place setting- hopefully, your little one is helping to set the table. Thursday the 13th we practiced the number four. We talked about squares and rectangles and their sides we were also reviewing our letters that we have learned so far. Friday night the 14th was our Literacy night. I loved having you all over to have a pajama party- thanks to Kevin Cullimore for coming in his pjs :) Sorry again for the heat of the hot chocolate- many a tongue was burned- we have learned from our mistakes.
This week- Tuesday the 18th we talked about the color brown- we played with Mr. Potato head and our brown playdough. We also had a brown bag activity where we pulled things out of a brown bag. Lastly we practiced the letter "H".

Week 9 & 10
Highlights...
Tuesday the 28th we talked about the number three. we colored a paper with 3 firefighters ("F" was also the letter of the week), practiced printing the number 3 and read about the three little bears.
Wednesday the 29th we talked about pumpkins. We made pumpkin bars- the boys helped make them. We also read how they grow and made a cute pumpkin decoration with a roll of toliet paper.
Thursday the 30th was our "F"all party. We decorated our own cupcakes, played Binghost and got our faces painted. I hope your children enjoyed it! Thanks to Kirsten and Lisa for helping out in the morning-it allowed us to get to all our fun things planned!
Tuesday the 4th we talked about the food pyramid and eating healthy. We spoke about all the 5 food groups and the importance of each one. Our letter of the week is "G" and we read about a gorilla trying to be good. We do need help with our sounds- "ga" and "ja" for the letter G.
Wednesday we will be talking about Cinderella. We will be making puppets and playing with fairy tale dominoes.
There is no class Thursday because I will be out of town. This class will be made up on Tuesday the 11th- thank you for your support with this! Until next week- Miss Alisha
