Wed Oct 5th- Vehicles for work

We played with duplo blocks, beads and school tanagram magnets- creating designs with shapes. I measured each child to see how tall they have gotten over the last month and then we completed their All about me October page after circle and snack time. We read Firefighter Ted to go along with the letter “F” this week after the star shared their show and tell and we looked at their binder. I reviewed with the class what a vehicle is and then we talked about four different vehicles that we use in hard work- excavators, bulldozers, cranes and road rollers. I sang a song and discussed each one with the class and then we completed a matching page with all the vehicles we spoke of. For “F” time, we practiced our sound and sign for the letter and then colored Farrah Fox to take home.

 

 

 

 

 

The last picture is the class eating kiwi fruit like it was the best thing that they had ever eaten- it cracked me up!
