Monday we started our new theme: Things that go! Our first topic was vehicles for fun and work. When we can into school, we started with a scissor practice. The kids are really starting to improve their skills. Upstairs we played with Mr. Potato Head and beads. We also had a few students already pass off their monthly poem. I might have to give an additional one for extra fun this month. Maybe this one was too easy J Jackson was our star this week. For our class time, we talked about what a vehicle is. We also organized which vehicles are for play and for work, kids and grownups and which ones belong on the street and on the sidewalk. We practiced our patterning again with different kids bikes on a worksheet. “F” was the letter of the week. We learned about Farrah Fox and how she likes her fan and feathers. I practiced the “F” with each child individually after snack time when we all look at books. For “F” time- we read about Fifi’s flute and how all the animals in the forest tried to help her. Fish saved the day! We also practiced the sign and the sound of the letter. Ask your child if they remember…
