Friday December 17th- Winter party

At table time, we practiced the letter “S” again and stamped in red and green. Upstairs, I had Mr. Potato Head, kid friendly nativities and links for the kids to play with. Campbell finished up his week as our star. We practiced our letter of the week by doing silly faces and dances to our “S” song. After snacks, we did our “S” activity. At the table we cut out “S” words and we put them into a stocking. They were originally socks but with the Christmas spirit, the kids made them stockings with color!
When we completed that, we had our winter party. We played Christmas bingo and got a sticker afterwards. Then we took our beads from the game and we each made a candy cane ornament for our Christmas trees. Then I had made some cookies and the students decorated them by themselves. Sorry for any green frosting that got on your child’s clothing- I got wipes out but for some, I was just too slow. Some of our friends in class also brought treats to share so be sure to check your child’s bag because there are goodies in there for them. We had a fun day together!
