Cookie decorating time
At table time, we practiced the letter “D” and we went upstairs to play with links and Mr. Potato Head. After circle time, we had apples and crackers from Benjamin. We read a book Halloween Howl and then we went to the table to make our foam pumpkins. They chose what faces their pumpkins were going to have and then we put a magnet on the back so you can hang it on the fridge. I made sugar cookies for them and they decorated them themselves with frosting and sprinkles. We ate them happily and then we played Binghost- a Halloween version of Bingo. It was a LONG game but we finally had 3 winners in the end, but everyone got to get a sticker for being a winner! I sent home the dump truck/Danny dog coloring sheet because we didn’t have time to finish it in class.
