At table time, we practiced tracing the letter M again. Upstairs, we had wooden blocks, links and duplos to play with. I took each child aside to work on the number seven- printing and counting it as we added seven segments to our caterpillars on our worksheets. At circle time, we learned the number seven in Spanish- siete and we practiced counting all the way to seven in Spanish.
For our seven practice, we sang the numeral song tracing each number we have learned in the air. I also read our seven poem that talked about the seven colors of the rainbow. At the table, we added seven pumpkins to a vine. For M practice, we added four “M” pictures a piece of “marble”. I sent home 7 practice sheet with seven feathers that they can do at home. I also sent home a maze for something fun to do too.
