Silly show and tell from Benjamin
Yummy snack of powdered doughnuts
Our pumpkins
At table time, we practiced our scissor skills. Upstairs, we played with Lincoln logs, beads and nuts and bolts. I practiced with each child the letter D while everyone played.
Our start of the week was Benjamin. I changed our circle time board so it is a bit easier for the kids to point to the colors and shapes. Our letter friend of the week was Danny dog and he likes dump trucks, dinosaurs and ducks. We practiced our sound & sign for the letter. Our snack was powdered doughnuts which actually went with our story at the end of the day which was Detective Dog and the missing doughnuts. Thanks Yvonne & Benjamin!
For our instruction time, we read Pumpkin Patch Puppy and we discussed how pumpkins grow with the story Pumpkin Jack. We ate some pumpkin seeds I had baked from our pumpkins. Afterwards, we made our pumpkins out of fabric and our roll of toilet paper. I hope they lasted in their bags. A great decoration for the bathroom!
We finished coloring our “D” worksheet, read our Detective Dog story and then it was time to go!
