Wednesday November 10th- Sharing

Posted by Picasa

At table time, we practiced our letter “P” and stamped in purple. Upstairs we played with the beads, books animals. For circle time, we talked about Veteran’s day, counted up to 30 and Ethan helped me with colors, shapes and our weather friend. We wiggled with our wiggle song and went right into snack time. Thanks Ethan & Jean for our snacks! The Pringles were loved by all.
For class time, we talked about sharing- where we share and why we do. Each child got the paper in their folders of the poem we talked about. We are working on a thanksgiving book so we colored two pages for it and added 6 fish to a fish bowl that we were not able to finish on number six day. We colored our “P” sheet – a pig in a puddle- for our binders. We also did a scissor project- they did not enjoy this because it was alot of cutting but if we continue to practice they will become more confident in their skills. They cut out shapes and then glued them to create a design on their paper. These were in their bags. For homework, I sent home the Petey Porcupine picture practice- they cut out the pictures, find the “P” words and glue only these on the pink paper. There is also a coloring sheet of Petey Porcupine in their folder to do over the long weekend. These do not have to be returned- just for their practice and enjoyment.
