We started our party day with printing practice- your child practiced making straight down lines with tracing “spider webs” then they colored the spiders. Upstairs, we played with babies and littlest pet shop. I took pictures of all the kids in their cute costumes. I read a story about the shapes around us instead practicing our shapes and colors at the board. We practiced our nursery rhyme-Jack and Jill for the last time. After circle time, we had snacks and then went through Cole’s binder. I read Clifford’s Halloween Howl and The Halloween Play to get our party started. Our class listened to Halloween music as we made our pumpkins at the table. Then we read some books as Miss Alisha got the table ready for decorating cookies. Each child used frosting and sprinkles to decorate their pumpkin cookie. After we finished, we talked about manners and trick-or-treating. Each child practiced saying “trick-or-treat” as the other child put their goodies in their tote- then I made sure we said thank you to our friend who brought the treat. Thanks to all who brought such fun goodies. That was our day- I hope your child enjoyed our party!
